“They don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.“
That’s the essence of a mission trip. We want to tell strangers about the love of Jesus, but first we must earn that right. We must show the same genuine care for others that Jesus did before they will be interested in anything else we have to say. Sometimes we call it “walking our talk.”
We’re taking 4,000 pairs of glasses, 15 people and our faith. God has a plan for us as well as people of Honduras we haven’t met yet. Our mission is to help them see more clearly. And then maybe some of them will see Jesus more clearly too.
